So this it is christmas

and what have you donechristmas-magic

Prior to kick off i invested time with the humbugs and the naysayers and I spake unto them for spaking is what I do sometimes; this is special, this is worth it, lay low and away from misery and enjoy the time for the time is here to be enjoyed.

And how enjoyment came and festered unto us who welcomed it home.

Home. Tick Tock goes the clock. Slowly.

We are on day 6 of the hibernation. Staying in, not going out, keeping our colds to ourselves. Watching tele and eating sprouts. This is a rave for those of pension age. Chocolates, dvds, a glass of wine on christmas day, sweet words whispered into the shell likes. We are in hiatus. And in hiatus we rest.

Today she said its like a complete escape from the rat race, and threw a shadow glass at the quietness in enraptured celebration. I never ever wanted to go back there…. racing with the rats. We welcome solitude.

But lonely loneliness is not so when together but this is only one of the new penchant for life. The other with fun and we can see an end to our sleepy winter.

I’ve had a festive gathering with all the boys and girls at cecil sharp. I tipped my hat to jesus with the pentecostals. These were on my last tours of the busy world. And now that world is close at hand again. Tomorrow Sleeping Beauty waits at Sadlers Wells, New years Eve sees the ceilidh form kicking up a storm on a soon to be re-sprung dance floor, a second excursion to a friends is waiting. We had Jim here and now we move towards Tom and Rita. There’s talk of a panto on the 2nd and another glass of wine or in my case excuse for cake, excuse for biscuit, excuse for cheese and excuse if excuse is needed for more chocolate.

Within this rest, within this laughter, resides a heaven, debarring hell, and with this time find christmas
