Photo; Cuts

Put away your razor
Snipping snickering scissors
Stanley knives and such
One more peaky blinding cap
Your attitude to a budget

Cut us to the quick
Another axe is falling
Bleeding us slowly
Here come the tory bastards
With their pieces of paper

Wrapped in red boxes
Their plans for our destruction
Smiles for the camera
Our cheque books are confetti
This is a loveless marriage

Listen to them speak
To howls of much derision
An over statement
Of political good will
It’s time for an election

Do not be hoodwinked
By executioner smiles
Look behind the mask
Heads upon the block calling
For bloodless revolution

When switchblades are down
And the blood letting has ceased
When we are bandaged
When sucking leeches cure
Will we forgive what happened

Will wounds weep again
Will we re-cut re-open
Watch blood seep again
In expression of their gain
An expression of our pain

Totally sad ,
homes and hearts ripped apart,
lives in shreds,
cos bureaucracy said.

Don’t fear the pike
Ignore the strike
Look for the hake
In a more placid lake

Rory was a Tory
Was he in it for his glory?
He says seemingly
Gleaming
Not
Ousted
Trusted
Thrusted
Out

But can you trust
Any Tory
Seemingly
Not quite
They unite
To rule
Policies
Often cruel

Never trust the rich
They stay that way
At the expense
Of those who have little
I watch their spittle
When they spout
About those without
They change laws
To get their claws
On what is little
That most of us have not

Below subsistence
Harsher existence
They pretend
Not to understand
But they greedily grab
All housing and land
And devalue
All work of value
To entrap you
If you have all
But little or nought

It’s a poorly hidden war
Between the rich & poor
It’s always been that way
So Rory stay away
Go back to being Tory And spare me your story

A Tory
Is a Tory
No sob story
From Rory
On how he was ousted
I saw he pouted
And proclaimed
That Boris
Was but a novice
For his ego’s office
But Rory
For me to believe
Your story
You should have
Never been
A Tory

I don’t see any glory
In any Tory
And for that
I’ll never be sorry

Cut us
Bleed us
Dry
We will arise to
Defy
Deny and
Not comply

Backstabbers ...
they smile in your face ...
note the crocodile teeth ...
the smile rejigged as slime
